An American company has analysed the content of twitter messages and found that 40% is "pointless babble" of the type "I am eating a sandwich". Is that "research" by any norm? I wonder what the rate of babble would be for the sms-messages sent by those with a flat-rate fee-structure.

Hi! Alot of the tweets may be classed as babble but I have to say that I have got some good links by following people like Steve Wheeler Twitter: twitter.com/timbuckteeth e-learning specialist, international speaker, University of Plymouth, UK! Mind you I also get to find out that he has retiled the kitchen floor! But I find that rather endearing! Have you found anyone useful to you professionally in Twitter?
SvaraRaderaWell, I haven't been that active looking for usable twitter feeds, so maybe thats the reason I haven't found any... Maybe the babble, when paired with useful information, helps the reader form a fuller picture of the subject-person that is posting? Private details add life?
